Burmese Jade is found in many color, from Orange, Lavender, Yellow, and even Colorless (know as Icy Jade). The most important, rare, and coveted color, however, is the Imperial Green Jade; an intensely rich green, bright, saturated color, coupled with high translucency, as shown in this necklace. Imperial Jade was traditionally reserved for royalty in Ancient Chinese culture, because it was extremely rare.
